Home Entertainment Solutions recently completed a luxury home theatre project in Gables which is in Sydney’s North West, where the client wanted more than just a high-quality sound and picture—they wanted a dedicated space with professionally installed home theatre lighting that would rival a commercial cinema. For this project, our lighting design combined LED strip lighting and a starry night ceiling. These two elements work together to bring both function and ambience to the room. To achieve this, we integrated the lighting system with a suite of high-performance AV equipment, including:

• Epson TW7100 4K projector for crisp, ultra-high-definition visuals.

• 120” ScreenPro fixed acoustic projector screen for a true cinematic display.

• 5 x Klipsch CS-16C in-ceiling speakers and a 12” Klipsch subwoofer for a powerful, immersive surround sound experience.

• Denon AVRX1800H amplifier for precise audio control.

• Terium 16-gauge speaker cabling and 10m fibre optic HDMI cable for seamless connectivity.

The star light ceiling created the dramatic effect the client was seeking, while the LED strip lighting gave them control over ambience, whether they wanted a vibrant glow before the movie or subtle accent lighting during the film. The project also included a multi-room audio system, with Klipsch in-ceiling speakers installed in the kitchen, family room, and alfresco areas—allowing entertainment to flow seamlessly throughout the home.
