Home Entertainment Solutions recently completed an incredible home theatre fit out for a family in Bossley Park, in Sydney’s western suburbs. The clients were looking to transform an unused room into a dedicated home theatre that delivered the luxury, comfort, and immersion of a commercial cinema—right at home. They wanted premium home theatre seating that could comfortably accommodate the whole family while enhancing the viewing experience and complementing the overall design of the room.

To meet the client’s brief, our team selected Manhattan Hudson reclining theatre seating, chosen for its balance of style, comfort, and functionality. These high-end recliners feature plush cushioning, durable upholstery, and full electronic reclining mechanisms for a seamless, cinematic feel. Each chair was positioned on raised timber platforms to create tiered seating—ensuring every viewer enjoys a perfect line of sight to the massive 140” ScreenPro fixed acoustic projector screen.

The Bossley Park home theatre also featured a range of premium AV components to deliver exceptional performance: an Epson TW9400 4K projector, KEF Q11 floorstanding speakers, KEF Ci series in-wall and in-ceiling speakers, and dual KEF 15” subwoofers for deep, cinematic bass. These were powered by a Marantz Cinema 50 AV receiver and MM7055 power amplifier, providing crystal-clear surround sound and incredible realism.

The entire room was completed with a black custom-made entertainment unit, star light ceiling, acoustic curtains, LED strip lighting, and cinema wall lighting—all carefully designed to create an immersive and atmospheric home theatre environment.

The homeowners wanted their new home theatre to deliver the same impact as a commercial cinema, with multiple seating positions and an uninterrupted viewing experience. To achieve this, we designed a tiered seating layout using raised timber platforms and installed Manhattan Hudson reclining theatre seating to provide luxury comfort and visual symmetry across the room. This design allowed for optimal sightlines from every seat while enhancing the room’s acoustics and cinematic atmosphere.
