To bring the client’s vision to life, we implemented a tailored lighting system that included an app-controlled RGB starlight ceiling, black LED downlights, and black up/down wall sconce lights. These elements were carefully chosen for both their aesthetic appeal and functional value, with the RGB starlight ceiling creating a captivating visual effect that emulates the twinkling of a night sky—perfect for setting the mood during a movie. Controlled via smartphone app, this feature offered flexibility and ease of use, allowing the client to adjust colours and intensity with just a tap. The black LED downlights were selected for their subtle profile and ability to provide focused, non-intrusive illumination, which is ideal for avoiding screen glare. Meanwhile, the black up/down sconce lights added soft wall illumination and helped define the room’s contours without distracting from the main screen.

Alongside the lighting, the room was fitted with high-end AV components, including an Epson LS12000 4K projector, KEF in-wall and in-ceiling speakers, a 140” ScreenPro acoustic screen, dual KEF 12” subwoofers, and a Denon AVC-X3800H receiver delivering that powerful Dolby Atmos sound coupled with incredible visuals. The entire system was calibrated and programmed by our team, ensuring optimal sound and picture quality.

Our client made it clear that they wanted more than just a media room—they envisioned a true home theatre that felt like an exclusive cinema. To meet these expectations, our team focused on integrated lighting that could shift seamlessly from practical to atmospheric. The starlight ceiling was an essential feature in achieving this mood, allowing for dynamic scene setting that elevated the viewing experience. Black LED downlights were used sparingly to maintain a darkened room during screenings while still offering enough illumination for safe movement. The wall sconces were used to enhance visual depth, especially during pre-show and intermission periods. These lighting solutions worked in harmony with acoustic treatments, natural oak timber diffuser panels, and plush electric recliners, rounding out a complete cinematic experience.
