For this recent project in Edensor Park, located in Sydney’s south west, right by Cecil Hills, Bossley Park and Green Valley, the team at Home Entertainment Solutions were engaged to create a dedicated home cinema that captured the luxury and ambience of the gold class experience. From the cinematic lighting to the rich acoustic detailing, every element of this home theatre fit-out was carefully designed and installed to deliver an exceptional viewing environment.

The brief from the client was clear — to transform an existing room into a purpose-built entertainment zone that rivals commercial cinemas. To achieve this, Home Entertainment Solutions supplied and installed premium audio-visual components, acoustic treatments, and luxurious home theatre seating, resulting in a visually stunning and acoustically superior space.

This home theatre installation included an Epson TW9400 4K projector paired with a 140” ScreenPro fixed acoustic screen, providing crisp, true-to-life visuals that make every movie night an immersive experience. The sound system was powered by KEF components, including a Ci4100QL THX centre speaker, in-wall and in-ceiling Ci160.2CL and Ci160.2CR speakers, and two 15” subwoofers. Combined with a Marantz Cinema 50 AV receiver and MM7055 power amplifier, the result is rich, detailed sound that fills the room from every direction.

To ensure optimal sound quality and minimise external noise, home theatre sound proofing and acoustic treatments were a key focus in this build. The use of acoustic curtains in a luxurious rich red fabric not only adds visual drama but also improves sound absorption. Wall-to-wall carpeting, insulation, and a raised timber platform further enhance the acoustic control and comfort of the room, creating a cinema that performs as beautifully as it looks.

Lighting plays a critical role in setting the tone of any home theatre. This Edensor Park cinema features a star light ceiling and LED strip lighting to create a warm, ambient glow that can be adjusted to suit the moment — from a soft pre-movie shimmer to full blackout during screening. The combination of subtle lighting and dark finishes, including a professional painting service in deep, cinematic tones, ensures minimal reflection and maximum visual focus.

No gold class experience is complete without luxurious home theatre seating. This room features premium Manhattan seating, designed for ultimate comfort and style. The recliners include plush cushioning, sleek finishes, and perfect sightlines to the screen, allowing every viewer to relax in comfort. Combined with the raised seating platform, it ensures that every seat in the room is the best seat in the house.
